Nine feet in every direction.
Alaskan King, Alaskan King Shorty or Florida King, each with flippable support and a replaceable comfort top. Pick your size, then choose the feel.
Free shipping to the 48 contiguous states.
An Alaskan King is built in pieces, so it moves through normal doors and hallways. The two Duo Support halves and the comfort top ship freight on a pallet with curbside delivery; the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment and does not bring it inside.
Once a shipment is with the carrier we cannot control delays.
White Glove Delivery (nationwide, chosen at checkout)
White Glove does not include moving or removing other furniture, taking apart or moving your current bed frame, or attaching a headboard.
The Alaskan King is made to order, so it is not eligible for our 100 Night Trial. Instead, it includes ONE comfort exchange to help you find the right feel.
We recommend sleeping on your new mattress for a few nights, up to a week, to give your body time to adjust.
If the comfort isn't quite right, start by flipping the Duo Support to try a firmer or softer feel.
If you're still not comfortable, we'll help you exchange your comfort top for one that better suits you. There's no charge for a comfort top of equal or lesser value. If you choose a more expensive option, you simply pay the difference.
There's no required waiting period or exchange window, so you can take your time finding the right comfort.
10 Year Warranty on each Duo Support half (bottom part) and 5 Year Warranty on the Duo Comfort (top part). You can refresh the comfort top in your Alaskan King size at any time.
Orders can be cancelled before shipping as long as the mattress has not started production. Once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled.
Extras made in Alaskan King sizes.
You're saving on this bundle. Applied automatically at checkout.

Engineered comfort, layer by layer. Pick a comfort top to see what is inside.
An Alaskan King is the largest standard oversized mattress: 108" x 108", a nine-foot square. That is 32" wider and 28" longer than a King, with room for two adults to stretch out, kids to pile in, or a tall sleeper to lie in any direction without hanging off the edge.
The Alaskan King Shorty keeps the full 108" width at an 84" California King length, for rooms that are wide but not deep.
Because it is built on two Duo Support halves under one comfort top, each side can be flipped to its own firmness, nobody feels a seam, and the pieces fit through standard doorways.
Each Duo Support half has a slightly softer side and a slightly firmer side. Flip one half and leave the other, and partners who disagree on firmness both get what they want in the same bed. No air chambers, no remote, no motor to fail.
No seam in the middle
One continuous comfort top covers both support halves, so the center of a nine-foot bed sleeps like the rest of it.
Connected by CLING™
CLING™ holds all three pieces together with no zippers or straps. Kids can climb and the bed stays put.
Replace the top, not the bed
When the comfort layer wears or your needs change, swap only the top. The support halves carry a 10-year warranty.
Thousands of individually pocketed coils in each support half carry the full width without sagging, and isolate motion so one sleeper turning over does not wake the other, even nine feet away.
Reinforced edge support means every inch of an Alaskan King is usable, from one edge to the other.
An Alaskan King is 108" wide by 108" long, a nine-foot square. The Alaskan King Shorty is 108" wide by 84" long, and the Florida King is 108" wide by 80" long. For comparison, a standard King is 76" x 80" and a California King is 72" x 84".
Couples who want maximum space, families with kids and pets in the bed, and tall sleepers who need length as well as width. The full 108" length lets a sleeper well over six and a half feet stretch out with room to spare.
All three are 108" wide, so each gives you 32" more width than a standard King. They differ in length: the Alaskan King is 108" long, the Shorty is 84" long (the length of a California King) and the Florida King is 80" long (the length of a standard King). Choose the Alaskan King for a nine-foot square, the Shorty when your room is wide but not deep, and the Florida King when you want the extra width with standard King sheets and a King-length frame.
Yes. The mattress is built in three pieces: two Duo Support halves and one comfort top that is compressed for shipping. Each piece moves like a standard mattress, so no special access is needed.
Yes. An Alaskan King needs a frame built to its dimensions. We make the Atlas, Hudson and Sonoma frames in Alaskan King, Alaskan King Shorty and Florida King sizes, and our Epic mattress protector is cut to each one. Add them above and they will match your size.
It is one mattress. The two Duo Support halves sit under a single comfort top, and CLING™ holds all three pieces together, so there is no gap or ridge in the middle.
Yes. Each Duo Support half has a softer side and a firmer side. Flip one half to make that side of the bed firmer or softer while the other stays as it is.
Alaskan Kings are made to order, so they are not eligible for the 100 Night Trial. Instead you get one comfort exchange: if the feel is not right, we exchange your comfort top for a different one at no charge for equal or lesser value.
Each Duo Support half carries a 10-year warranty and the Duo Comfort top carries a 5-year warranty. When the top wears, replace just the top in your Alaskan King size.
